Re: Attention Curtis Stone Durapan Fans

I didn't buy curtis's multipurpose pan because it did not appear deep enough. Also I just bought his 5 piece essentials set in red which is beautiful and just cost $79 plus tax and shipping. The nonstick is the best I have used.

Re: Attention Curtis Stone Durapan Fans

After reading the glowing remarks, I ordered the TS as a gift for my hard-working sister. She holds down two jobs and as an older mom is raising twin 13 year-old boys single handedly.  They can eat her out of house and home. LOL   She cooks for them all of the time and I want her to have a great and versatile pan.  Thanks for the information on the Curtis Stone cookware !!

I OWN THE ORIGINAL.  BOUGHT THE STEAMER LATER.  LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT I PURCHASED ANOTHER STEAMER TO STACK THEM WHILE COOKING.  WORKS GREAT.  THINKING ABOUT GETTING A THIRD STEAMER INSERT AS WELL..  REALLY DOES HOLD IN THE STEAM FOR A AWESOME MEAL.

I bought the one on H*sn last week and found the steamer insert at W@lmart for a few $$ less with free s/h. I love his cookware.

@momtochloe: WOW! Order just delivered. I am impressed with the cookie sheets and love the lid stand- I ordered the grey. I have a new kitchen with black appliances and Blessed with a double wall oven. Everything will look great. It is too hot to cook now. Will try out the new pans in the morning and of course will be baking  cookies for DH.  MTC- thank you for the CS product information. Southern Bee

Oh @SouthernBee that is just excellent news (both that you like what you ordered and that you have a new, beautiful kitchen.  I am beyond jealous of your double oven!).  Enjoy your purchases my friend and again there is nothing like a new kitchen . . . Smiley Happy

Re: Attention Curtis Stone Durapan Fans

My Special Edition Dura-Diamond Premium Non-Stick Curtis Stone 14-inch DEEP MULTIPURPOSE PAN has arrived (channelling Hyacinth Bucket there).

It wasn't in the spiffy illustrated box the earlier version was shipped in, but the point is the pan. I'll be doing a bunch of Italian sausages tonight and eggs to test it out.

I think they recycled the booklet for the Dura-Pan for this Dura-Diamond version, so the care instructions are the same. I will be using metal very gingerly, and likely stick with nylon and silicone.

I think he'll be returning for TSs in September and November, from what the host said during a late presentation.

There is one thing he could do to improve the Curtis Stone cooking experience, and that is produce silicone insulator thingies to fit on the handles and lid knobs. The stick handles have been okay, but the multipurpose pans have the C handles, and they get hot, and so does the lid knob. The instructions warn to use oven mitts even when using the pan on the stovetop. I love the look of the stainless handles, but would appreciate insulators. He could do them in the universal Curtis Stone Grey, which would match my cookware. Smiley Wink

Re: Attention Curtis Stone Durapan Fans

Can you please tell me the cost of this pan when it was the Today's Special.

He will have a terrific value (TS) on his 14" Dura Diamond Deep Pan for a great price and free S&H.  It's a bit deeper than his original pan and I like that it comes with a lid.  I can speak from experience how much I love his products, if you have been on the fence this may be of interest to you.

Re: Attention Curtis Stone Durapan Fans

@coffee drinker

$39.99 free shipping - 5 flex pays

I got mine tonight and I am sending it back. I was thinking of trying it but it's shallow (I was replacing my caphalon deep skillet/frypan).

The demo tempted me into "impulse" buy yet I really don't think it's going to fit my needs.

I have the frypans by Curtis Stone which I love! Truly nothing sticks & cleanup a breeze!
