Love my Lock&Lock! In the 2 cabinets that I have designated as my pantry I have everything stored and organized in them. All my sugar, flour, k-cups, bread crumbs, cinnamon sugar, nuts, sprinkles, chocolate chips, Splenda packets. . . . all our snacks like chips, crackers, pretzels, microwave popcorn packs, homemade trail mix. . .  .whatever. It all stays fresh and bug free. I use the containers to store batteries in the cellar and to organize all kinds of things all over the house. Oh, and I use them for food first and foremost, whether it's for leftovers or for a big bowl of salad or for something else I've prepared ahead of time. I keep bagels in the freezer in one container, ice cubes in another, and freeze soups and stews and other foods, too.

What can't you do with Lock&Lock? I love Lock&Lock, I use Lock&Lock and if that means I'm addicted, then so be it.

Re: Are you addicted to Lock and Lock storage products?

Absolutely no addiction to Lock and Lock, or anything else.   This product came into my life at a time when my pantry shelves were full of worn out Tupperware, odds and end Rubbermaid containers, and dozens of cool whip bowls that were being used to store leftovers.   I tossed everything and purchased Lock and Lock; a square set, round nesting set, covered cereal size bowls, along with large storage containers for my staple products.   I also have 9x13 carriers and a cake taker.   I now have all I need, and I'm done.

Your neighbor is addicted to the thrill of online shopping, and buying what she wants; my MIL did the exact same thing after my FIL died.   When she died, I found the tablet where she had recorded 3 1/2 years worth of her QVC purchases, which totaled nearly $21,000!

@AKgirl2  I still don't understand.  Do you live overseas?  Because I only have to pay $5.50 for regular delivery here in the US.  Even premium delivery is only $21.97.

@CLEM ~ I live in Alaska, and their shipping charge for the TSV is $21.97 for standard delivery.  Unless the Q offers "free shipping,"

AK and HI is always charged exorbitant shipping fees.  Thank goodness there are many online merchants that offer free shipping, but not always for the same configurations.

Have you ever tried to marinate fresh sliced beefsteak tomatoes, basil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper? Lock & Lock is the only answer! You can keep turning it over and over. Right? I love L&L, and I wish I could be addicted; but, my DH and storage space won't permit. I take it to work every day and toss it across to the other seat of the car and don't worry if the escarole and bean soup is going to ooze out on to the seat.

@EatWell. . . .    I don't really know how many pieces of Lock&Lock I have. I've never counted them or even thought about it. I just think I have as many as I need, and I use all that I have. I think you will love them as much as I do. I've even used the smallest ones as pill boxes in my handbag. Seriously, anything you need to store, organize or carry along with you can be put in your Lock&Lock.

Re: Are you addicted to Lock and Lock storage products?

@AKgirl2  I understand now.  That is really costly.  You can get L&L containers on Amazon also.  In fact, I did cancel mine but not because of the shipping charges; I did because I don't need all the containers in the set.  But loved the colors.

I have wanted to go to Alaska for over 50 years and I will finally do it on September 23.  Will go on a 10 day cruise out of Seattle and returning to Vancouver.  I am soooo looking forward to this trip.  Hope the weather will play nice.

Re: Are you addicted to Lock and Lock storage products?

I am probably an addict. I just have never found any other brand to work as well. I do buy rubbermaid and it's wannabes but only for DH's lunches that he takes to work. I use those because he has lost or forgotten to bring them home.  They can be very hard to open and L&L isn't.

I think nesting ones are a great idea for storage of them , but I only nest the ones I just use occasionally  like the large bowls . I do not want to open 4 to get one daily.

The ones I use the most are stackable and I have the lids lined up next to them. These are the rectangular and mini zen 1 cup . The later are wonderful for a 2 person household . I bought the second set of them .I sometimes have my lunch of two or 3 items in those. If I am in a real hurry I do not bother with a plate just eat out of them. Terrific for 'dibs & dabs ' !

Yes I purchased yesterday's TSV . Great bargain.
