Tea--my parents were English, so tea is important in our family.  A proper British tea, brewed properly.  Otherwise don't bother.

Fave knife is a Wusthof, second faves are Rada tomato slicer and paring knife.

Cooking real food.  I've gone plant based/nutritarian so no meat, dairy, eggs, cheese, oils for me.  I know the nutritional science and epidemiology so I see those things as poison now.  And processed foods too.  I am a produce section maniac, and the grains/beans aisle.  The grocery store clerk always looks at me funny because my cart is nothing like other people's.  LOL

For good equipment reviews, I pretty much follow America's Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated.  They do a good job.

I rent so my apartment kitchen is nothing fancy at all, but my wares are top notch.

I prefer glass and porcelain storage containers too.
