Anyone use whole nutmeg?

I would like to start using whole nutmeg in my recipes and for the traditional egg nog. However, I don't have a nutmeg grater. I looked on the web and saw two different kinds--/><img src=If you grate your own nutmeg, which kind do you use? Is there a preferred place to purchase it? Thanks for any assistance you could give.
