Anyone have the T-Fal Opti-Grill...

This grill sounds interesting, and I'm wondering if anyone has it or knows anything about it. Thanks for any and all information.

Re: Anyone have the T-Fal Opti-Grill...

I have one, and I LOVELOVELOVE it!. Very easy to use. I now keep steaks, burgers and sausages in the freezer and I can get one out and cook it on a whim in 10-15 minutes total. I haven't tried a fish filet yet. I never have to worry if whatever is underdone or overdone any more. I have learned, esp with frozen meats, to take it off the grill just slightly before you have your perfect color. Better a teeny bit under than a bit over.

Easy to clean. Not inexpensive, but if you buy at BB&B or Kohls there are coupons that can be used and sales to look out for.

Ditto, but

I hate Kohls (at least in this part of Florida) as their sale prices are other vendors Regular prices.. I got mine at BB&B right after release and it is great, BUT...

The local Sam'sClub (maybe yours? ) has the combination of an Optigrill and a 6 qt T-Fal pressure cooker for $179.

Re: Anyone have the T-Fal Opti-Grill...

I bought one for my parents because I thought it would help them out since it is harder for them to cook and remember to turn things off, so i tried it a couple of times before I gave it to them (so I knew how to show them it works), and I loved it. Then they called and said it was too big and heavy, so i am getting it back, which I am very happy about. I cooked a frozen steak and thawed lamb chops. I will also keep a bunch of single serving portions in the freezer for when I get this back. I had actually ordered one for myself the same day they called and said they were giving it back, so I was able to cancel the order for me - but it was that good that i had to have one for myself.

Re: Anyone have the T-Fal Opti-Grill...

I've had one for a few months and really love it. I cook for just myself and this is so handy for quick, healthy meals. I have done steak, burgers, boneless chicken breast, etc. both frozen and defrosted or fresh. I wish it were a little smaller, but I found a place for it and it isn't hard to put away after use. I use it at least 3 nights a week--more sometime. I bought it online at Kohl's. (I had seen it on display at Macy's) I had $100. in Kohl's cash, it was on sale plus 30% off and I had another few dollars from their rewards. I think it came to less than $50. and, of course, it was free shipping. I e-mailed the company to ask if you can use PAM spray on it and I never got an answer. I know you can't use it on some non-stick. I highly recommend this item.
