If you have it, how do you like it? Reviews are good. Do you have to reconfigure times for cooking & baking?
Thanks

If you are talking about a toaster convection oven, then the answer is yes. I use this website which converts temps from a regular oven to a toaster oven convection: Convection Oven Calculator
I have a bright red Kennmore convection toaster oven. It's almost a month old. The above website link has saved me from burning the kitchen down more than once.

I had the KA countertop convection oven. While it did perform well, and I had no problem with the results, I found that it heated up my kitchen as much as my regular oven, so I ended up giving away this countertop hot box and making roo for other kitchen gadgets.

I have this oven (got it from Costco - $80) and I don't find that it heats up the kitchen at all. I have been using it for everything that I would make in my regular convection oven. It's great for baked potatoes, I'm very happy with it.

Yes, I have it..love it, bought it at costco for about $80.00..I use it almost everyday, I like that it still has the old fashion knobs and not the digital controls...I did not want to bother with learning something new..Ha

A few years ago I bought this oven and I loved it but, after a little over a year it stopped working ... Like I said I really loved it so, I bought another one .... the second one lasted about two years and died .... as much as I am tempted I will not buy another one.

What temp do you use for your baked potatoes & how many hours?
I baked a small potato today for the first time in my counter top convection oven. I set the temp to 300 degrees & baked for 1 hour. Again my red potato was small. It came out "ok." Not as soft as I would have liked. I had wraped the potato in aluminum foil.
I guess I have to play around w/it again.

Well, we like our potatoes very well cooked so I do medium russets, wrapped in foil for about 2 hrs at 450 - same as in the big oven. I have also used the KA oven for small casseroles and for crispy snacks - chicken nuggets, etc.

I will try that the next time. I only buy red potatoes because they are sort of sweet to the taste.
Anywho, cooking convection (counter top) is all trial & error. What I am doing since I am new to this is keeping a note book of convection time & temps of all the recipies I use daily and/or use a lot. Will print them out soon hopefully. Still trying to bake a potato to my liking. LOL
My regular oven is now a storage space for all of my pots & pans. The empty pots & pan cabinet is now a place I keep all my counter top appliances w/still plenty of room to spare.
I live in an apt.
