Anyone Ever Enter A Cooking Contest???

Just curious. With all the great cooks on this board, I wodered if anyone has ever entered a cooking contest and how did you do??? A few years ago I entered the Pillsbury Bake-Off, came up with about 4 or 5 "original" recipes and did NOT win. Surprise, surprise!!! I must have cooked my you-know-whats off for months. It was fun, but sort of disappointing.
