I tried fruit woods before, didn't care for them. I prefer mesquite and hickory for myself.

I don't understand the need for these... What's so hard about throwing a handful of chips on the fire?  I only like hickory.

I enjoy trying new things that are convenient and easy.  DH & I just got a new grill & we are having fun experimenting.  We have never used smoked wood chips so we will start with these.
