Any Tips for Cooking Deer Tenderloin?

I was organizing our freezer yesterday and pulled out two very small Deer Tenderloin that a guy my husband works with gave to him. I put them in the fridge to thaw and plan on cooking them for dinner tonight. I thought that I would pan sear them, de-glaze the pan, and make a gravy with the pan drippings. Creamed potatoes and a green vegetable to finish the meal.
