While ordering a DiGiorono's self raising pizza for curbside pickup with my grocery order, I accidentally ordered one with a croissant crust. Never heard of it before but what a pleasant surprise. It was good with pepperoni and onions added. I bought another.

@stevieb Did you just say that because you know I don't have a Harris Teeter? womanwinkk:
I would LOVE LOVE to have a Harris Teeter. If we see one on vacation I have to stop, and when we start home I always have to go by! womanveryy-happy:
I have two canvas HT bags I treasure.
@Sooner I like Teeter a lot. But go to the Home Run Pizza website and check out the options. I think you can order online and you can also check to see if there's a store in your area that carries them. Believe me, they're worth it. Much better than the average frozen pizza. They also have actual restaurants but only in the Chicago area.

OK! Thanks and with the limited selection for my Walmart pickup (some were out of stock) I ordered a DiGiornio Thin Crust Pepperoni and a California Pizza Kitchen BBQ Chicken (a favorite combo at an OKC restauant!) to try.
So, I'll report back when we eat them!
What a fun thread and lots and lots of good suggestions! Thanks so very much! We normally make pizzas using bread machine crusts (my husband is a great pizza chef!) but we are old and sometimes need a break! ![]()

If you have Connie's frozen pizza in your area, you must try them.

I love California Pizza Kitchen (wish there was one near me - I think the closest is in Sacto) and they made a chicken one, but not the bbq chicken, that I LOVED and used to also sell it as a frozen one in stores.
At some point I stopped finding it and I was so bummed. I wish I could remember the rest of it. I just remember chicken and not bbq. It wasn't any kind of red sauce, so maybe a parm sauce (?).
Used to go there and get half a Chinese chicken salad, and we'd share one of these pizzas. Plus, I loved their Bloody Marys.

Sure, make me salivate. I'm originally from Chicago and spent many nights at Home Run Inn. Even their frozen pizza is better than any pizzeria I have found where I am now. Unfortunately they don't sell the frozen ones in all states.

If it's their 'Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza', check for stores here: https://www.goodnes.com/cpk-frozen/products/roasted-garlic-chicken-pizza/

I like Home Run Pizza and Motor City Pizza .Motor City is a Detroit style pizza and is great if you like the thick pizza and it come in it's own pan.

@Sooner I don't know where you are but Publix in the south carries Home Run Inn Pizza as does Target.
