Re: Any Bread Pudding Fans Here?

I love bread pudding as long as it isn't too soggy and doesn't have too much "stuff" in or on it. The version from America's Test Kitchen is a bit fussy but turns out perfectly every time with no unpleasant eggy flavor, so it's my go-to recipe. Drizzle some homemade caramel sauce on top and I'm in breakfast or dessert heaven...  Smiley Happy

As old as I am I've never had bread pudding. Maybe I'll give it a try.

I also have never had bread pudding.

One of these days I want to give @RespectLife 's recipe a try.

I make an every day bread pudding recipe, but I use egg nog instead of milk. I freeze egg nog that is available at the holidays in portions that I need for the recipe.

Works every time.

I could eat it DAILY!

Great idea @Flatbush     Thanks for sharing this!

Hope I remember this next year when Egg Nog is available!

We have a local dairy farm right down the street that has the most fantastic fresh egg nog.....in glass bottles even!

I could freeze cubes in a tray!

It would be so good subbed out for milk!!

Re: Any Bread Pudding Fans Here?

Yes! Love bread pudding. I make it only during the Holidays though.  I use an Italian Panettone, Chiostra Di Saronno brand. chocolate and an Amaretto flavored one. Cut them into cubes, mix them up with the custard filling and bake. Delicious!
