Marshmallow Apple Crisp
Dessert
13x9 Baker
Yield: 8 servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 50– 60 minutes
9 Granny Smith apples
6 cups miniature marshmallows
1 ½ cups flour
½ cup oats
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
¾ cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1.Lightly spray your 13x9 temp-tations® baker. Set aside.
2.Peel, core and slice apples into ¼ inch wedges. Spread evenly in the baker.
3.Cover the top with marshmallows.
4.In a separate bowl mix flour, oats, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or two forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over marshmallows.
5.Bake for 50 – 60 minutes or until apples are tender.
Never made it before with the marshmallow layer wonder if it's better or worse that way.

I would use 2-3 cans of apple pie filling how I always made mine in the past.

I have a fantastic fruit dip that has marshmallow cream in it, and apples are delicious with it!

@StirFan,I'll be glad to send it to you next week. We just arrived at the beach today! It's SO good, it will "make your teeth itch!!!"!!! I'll post it here after the 9th if you'll come back and check! Apples and strawberries are awesome (although with a fruit tray of course use fruit fresh for enzamatic browning).
I've also used it drizzled over a square of white/yellow cake with fruit on top.

I always made the plain way probably keep on doing it that way.
