They showed her friends eating the sandwich and they all said how delicious it was. I would have a problem with the lemon seeds for sure and also the peel.I can't imagine eating a cheese sandwich and biting down on seeds.

To me she always seems to be putting on airs thinking she is better than anyone else.

Not that I'd want it for lunch but without the seeds sounds like a great addition to something like a bbq buffet or appetizers. Didn't you eat lemons as a kid?
I would also like to add a layer of creamed cheese with chives and a little smoked salmon on top--served open face.

I think the sandwich sounds really good. I however, would leave out the seeds.

She sliced a lemon, peel and all, including seeds, and tossed the slices into a bowl. She added a couple of spoonfuls of sugar and stirred it around. Then she took slices of bread and spread butter on them, then she sprinkled parm cheese on the buttered slices. She placed the sugared lemon (with the peels and seeds still on them) onto the unbuttered side of one of the slices, put MOOZ-a-RELL-a cheese on top of the sugared lemon and put the other slice of bread on top (with parmasean cheese on the outsides) and grilled it. The peel and seeds are still on the lemon people!!!! And she put sugar on the lemon!!! What!
If they were Meyer lemons, this might work. Otherwise, I'll pass.

You'd leave on the peel? I've heard of people liking lemon peel fine if you like it but personally with the sugar added, the seeds and the peel- I'm just out

In that carrot salad, the lemons were sliced oh, so thin, and no seeds, and they were sauteed in EVOO w/ pine nuts. That was tossed with shredded raw carrots. I remember it being sauteed pretty long & on low heat. It was the carrots that were the main dish, and the lemons were the accompaniment. Recipe by Aarti Sequeira.
(I think this is modified a bit)

Yes, if it was not thick, and if the lemon was sliced thin enough.
