Re: Another $100+ trash can????

I would consider paying that or more for something I really thought added to my kitchen decor and concealed the trash well.

There are some at the Amish stores in our area, made from the wood and stain of your choice, that look like free standing cabinets, and the door tips out and holds a plastic can. Love those, but don't have room for them in my small kitchen.

Something like these, will run up to $175 in our area, depending on size and where you get it.

I have an OXO that was probably upwards of $75. Much better than some cheap plastic thing.

Re: Another $100+ trash can????

@Sooner

Around 8 yrs ago I bought the Simple Human stainless steel trash can (smaller size) from Bed/Bath. I have the semi-round with the foot pedal - as it leans against the side of my kitchen island.
There are several sizes on-line --- and the prices are not high. Use a 20% off coupon - and it's a great value. I bought a box of Kirkland 10 gallon liners - inexpensive - and there are 4 rolls. Lasts forever.

I use it every day - and it needs to look nice!!!!!

Re: Another $100+ trash can????

Those wooden cabinets that hold trash are beautiful . However I don't have room for something like that to have out in my kitchen.  Instead we have it under the sink and it rolls out....it's pretty spacious too and I like that it's out of sight.

Mine is under a cabinet but I would buy a custom made cabinet in a minute if I needed to hide a can.  They look great.

Don't know what the buyers "think", and don't really care.  Products that don't sell will be gone very quickly.

Don't like a product?  Think a product is too expensive?  Don't buy it.  Simple solution.

I'm sorry you are having a bad morning.  I was  just making  a comment -- aren't what these forums are for???  If a person wants or doesn't want to buy something, obviously that is up to them.

Sorry but I surely would never want a visible trash can sitting in the middle of my kitchen!! I'm very much a minimalist in my home, everything is hidden. My kitchen trash is in a botton drawer cabinet hidden.
