I'm sure I have used it after the date. I buy Almond Breeze and there's nothing in the ingredients that can harm you. Water, almonds, sugar and vitamins are the main ingredients.

Sugar as a non-harmful ingredient is debatable. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

I agree. But you can get the unsweetened kind, and I do.

I think almond milk that's about to turn has an unmistakable smell. I toss it when soon as it begins.

You are both correct, of course. My point was that sugar, after a certain date won't harm you (anymore that before the date!)

That makes sense...I should have remembered the context. Sorry to be so slow! Smile

I used almond milk in my coffee, so I went through it very slowly. I stopped using it when it came out chunky. I don't remember how far past the expiration date it was.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I wish they'd make almond milk in quarts. If they do, I can't find them.

For me, it doesn't even make it TO the expiration date as I drink it before then. I buy the 3 pack from Costco & their expiration dates are at least a month after the date that I purchase them.

They do come in quart size. It's a 32 oz. shelf stable box that isn't refrigerated.
