I caught the end of a presentation by David of the Power XL Air Fryer with a steam option. Then I noticed on HSN that Curtis Stone now has a similar one. Do any of you have either of these fryers? Does the steam option really make a difference?

@SharkE Do we need this one? You have convinced me I needed things in the past...

Re: Air fryers that steam?

[ Edited ]

my air fryer is included in the Ninja Foodi machine. I don't use it that much . Salmon, main thing.

I take the cholesterol pill, so, I can eat 'grease' hahahah deep fried french fries.

I got the power XL GRILL/griddle. Not the air fryer

@soxfan   I've been thinking about your question since you first posted it. ANY pot can be a steamer if you put one of those inexpensive adjustable trays in. Even my asparagus steamer, which I use a lot, is not indispensable. I am happy with my original pod-shaped air fryer because it is quick to clean, but it is bulky. I try not to buy any kitchen appliance unless it has the potential to make a big change in my cooking.
