I have a Ninja 4qt. It's loud but super reliable. The quality is hard to beat.

Re: Air fryer question

[ Edited ]

I have two air fryers...a ninja with double baskets and a Phillips.  I like them both.  The Philips is better but smaller.

I don't find that food gets dried out.  I have air fried steaks and chops, potatoes, eggs, bread and chicken and lots of other stuff.

Sometimes,  I use the airfryer several times a day.  My airfryers have quite a few choices....from baking to broiling.

I don't the noise being very loud.

It sure is better than turning on the oven.

I've been thinking of upgrading to an air fryer with baking capabilities. I do a lot of small batch baking so one would be pretty much ideal. The Instant brand ones with the window seem pretty neat. I like the one with the rotisserie basket built in as I think that basket would be the ideal way to cook things like french fries as it slowly rotates them rather than needing to be shaken. I just suspect I'd get very tired of dealing with a hot rotisserie basket as I unloaded it. I'm not a big fan of suiting up in layers of heat-proof gear to open a hot rotisserie basket. I suspect I'd use it for a bit and then decide it wasn't worth the trouble. It's a neat concept though.

Initially we had a $100 air fryer from Costco ( did the job but nothing more). Last year we upgraded to a Breville Airfryer convection oven. Almost $500 but we use it everyday; as much as our microwave ( love, love, love).

I am going to be buying an air fryer soon and the one I am looking at is an Emeral Lagassee just like you have.  I want one that does everything.  I am glad to hear you like yours.  Thanks for the info.

Well worth the money. It does so much. You can look it up on utube. Its not the dual zone air fryer.when we got it I watched a bunch of Utube videos to learn how use it.  Its called  emeral lagasse.  French door  360. Comes with a drip pan,  rack,  basket, grill, rotisserie. We got a good deal from Amazon I think last November. I think we paid 160.00. That was  50 bucks off the regular price. Good luck what ever kind of air fryer you buy. I just looked on Amazon and its 189.00. With there sales coming up you probably can get it cheaper. Good luck.
