Do you know if you have the 3 in 1 or 4 in 1?

I'll look later at the models to see the difference.

I have the 4 in 1. This is the newest model.

I recently bought a Ramjoy brand from Amazon - currently $69.99 - I love it.  I read about it in a tech column in my city newspaper. It's a basket type but the unit and the basket is square.  It does not take up a lot of space. I got the 3.8 qt and the basket is very large.  There's a larger version too.  The outside doesn't ger super hot. It's very attractive and very easy to use.

I've been trying to buy an air fryer for years - first one was the egg shape - so bulky and too small basket.  Second one was a Ninja oven type that flipped back and out of the way but it took up too much room.

Hello Smiley Happy   I'm thinking about buying an air fyer for the first time. It would be for meals for 2 people.

Can anyone recommend an air fryer that they really like?

Also, are there any good websites that show cooking times or favorite air fyer websites?

thank you so much!

@WeiRDgeRL I'd look at what types of foods you eat often and see if that is suited to an air fryer.  We bought one, didn't use it maybe 5 times and then got tired of seeing it in the garage and donated it.

We found out that we don't eat many things that need to be air fried.  Woman Frustrated  We wound up just roasting things in the oven instead.

It seems like anything and everything can be air fried.   Great for re-heating too.

@Sooner   Agree.  DH and I are on the fence about getting one.  But DH loves his George Foreman grill and I use the microwave a lot.  Not sure what we would use an air fryer for.

Cusisinart comes in 2 size machines  . I have the smaller one  and it  works well for me. I cook frozen salmon  with  ginger garlic sauce and cod in  pomodoro sauce  in my  cuisinart on bake cycle . There is a bake cycle or airfry or toast . It works well for breaded frozen items .

I  use it on a daily basis . I only use my regular oven whe I prepare a holiday dinner .

@skatting44 We had the large one for about 8 years. We now have an air fryer in our oven. Only thing is the drips from things burgers like we had last night it gets very smoky so we put the fan on in the microwave above and s small exhust fan in the window

@rockygems123 I ordered the 3 in 1.  It runs about $20.00 less than the 4 in 1 and the difference is that the 3 in 1 doesn't have a baking feature which I didn't want.  I'm not much of a baker and when I do bake I can easily use either the big oven or my toaster oven.

My Ninja Crispy should be arriving today!

We have been using our Breville air fryer for 2 years almost daily for air and convection baking; best appliance we own except microwave.  This was around $300 but worth every penny.

@patbz I have the Breville convection oven but never upgraded to the air fryer version.  The air fryer Breville is just a bit larger than the one that I have and I didn't want to go much bigger.

However it is a great little oven!  I had another before my current one and deicded to give my old one which was still working very well to my son.....gave me an excuse to buy a new one!

That Cuisinart with the window in the front looks great.  It's very similar to my Ramjoy but a little bigger than mine and a little smaller than the Ramjoy bigger size.  And more square with a large square basket  If I hadn't bought the Ramjoy I'd try this one.
