I'm on my third air fryer, and I'm not sure you can go too far wrong with any of them. My first one (2020) was a Yedi ($100) that I used for two years with no issues. When I moved in here, I got a two-drawer Power XL from QVC (around $70 at the time) that I used until Black Friday of this year. It still works fine, just is bigger than I needed and a bit slower than my old one. (It's on top of my cupboards in reserve.)

On Black Friday, I got a Gourmia ($35) from Walmart with a window and baking functions that I'm currently using. It's fast, easy, and has worked perfectly so far. I don't think you can go too far wrong with any air fryer. All three of mine have done the job. All three took slightly different cooking times, but they all got the job done.

They aren't the most complicated device ever made. They're essentially a souped-up hairdryer with a basket to hold the food. I don't think you can go too far wrong with any of them. All will take some adjusting to. There's no universal, "This will take exactly this long to cook in every air fryer" recipe out there. Cooking times will vary. The need to rotate, flip, and shake the food will vary. Preheating or not varies. It's like any other appliance, you adjust recipes to whichever air fryer you have and how things cook in it. No two microwaves cook exactly the same. No two conventional ranges/ovens cook exactly the same. No two air fryers cook exactly the same. You adjust and adapt. You can't go too far wrong with any option out there. They all work pretty well.

Do you know if you have the 3 in 1 or 4 in 1?

I'll look later at the models to see the difference.

@rockygems123 I ordered the 3 in 1.  It runs about $20.00 less than the 4 in 1 and the difference is that the 3 in 1 doesn't have a baking feature which I didn't want.  I'm not much of a baker and when I do bake I can easily use either the big oven or my toaster oven.

My Ninja Crispy should be arriving today!

That's great information, thanks!  I rarely bake so wouldn't need that either.

Exciting report back if you can how you like it!

No matter the brand, I think you'll love it. Mine is a cheap one from QVC. It was from Cook's Essentials.

@Sooner   Agree.  DH and I are on the fence about getting one.  But DH loves his George Foreman grill and I use the microwave a lot.  Not sure what we would use an air fryer for.

@kaydee50 That was our problem!  Woman Frustrated  We never found much we wanted to cook in it and it was sort of messy to clean up.

@WeiRDgeRL

We have an air fryer. We like it, DH loves it and he didn't think he would. I don't think we use it as often as most people with one but I had two things I wanted to mention when looking for an air fryer. I spent extra to buy a dual blaze unit. It Heats from the top and the bottom for no or less need to turn over your food.  I personally wouldn't be interested in a unit with a window because I think it would be kind of like a rotisserie with a window. They get stucked on cooking splatters that are hard to get off and make the window look yellowish and brown.  Mostly what we've done with ours is prepared food. We don't cook steaks or chicken or hamburgers in ours. My husband cooks those  on the grill.  The flavors aren't comparable.
