I'm hooked on the Ore-Ida fast food fries.  I use the preset french fry button on the fryer -- I think that is 400 degrees and just keep an eye on them.  They don't really brown but get good and crispy.  The only problem I had with them was that I then had to go buy ice cream and make a chocolate shake to dip them in LOL!!  Teen memories Woman LOL

I like Ore-Ida crispers.  I've not had trouble getting frozen fries to turn out well in my air fryer unless I over crowd the basket.  Sometimes I think they need more time than the preset button.

 

I also think there's a wide variance in the quality of frozen fries.  There are some store brands that I don't care for and I'm rarely brand loyal to anything.
