@monicakm  I have used an air fryer almost exclusively for years now.  My current one is an Insta Pot Vortex Plus 6qt.  It's quiet, has a window so you can see what's cooking and works like a dream.

     I do everything in mine.  And yes my husband does his steaks in it and they come out juicy and perfect.  It also reheats pizza far better than the oven and microwave.  I would always have an air fryer now.  I do everything from ribs, salmon, chicken, ham, etc they all come out wonderful. My grandkids love bagel bites and it gets those done perfect in a far shorter time.  If I am cooking something new I just Google time and temperature to air fry xyz.  We moved into our house in April, and I have yet to use my oven.  It preheats fast, and since it's just the two of us it's the perfect size and easy to clean.

Excellent!  Thank you for your review.  I finally got mine ordered.  The one I chose was $115 and with my Amazon Reward points, it came to $34.  It was a long drawn out affair because Amazon wouldn't apply my points to my purchase.  30 minutes with Amazon chat support and an hour and eight minutes on phone support.  I can't wait to get it!  I saw the ones with a glass front but didn't want to have to deal with keeping the glass clean.

Well great Smiley Sad How long ago was this?  I'm guessing I can enter the serial # when I get mine and see if it's been recalled.

@monicakm  Sweet choice!!!  Enjoy.  It is a learning curve bigger for some, not so much for others.  And there are those that will never get one for various reasons.  I'm one of the people who will never be without one.  :-)  Hope you have a good experience with yours.

@eadu4

Thanks.  I just looked at the recall models for the Cosori and mine isn't listed.  I will call Cosori when mine arrives tomorrow just to make sure.  I don't foresee the air fryer being much of a learning curve.  I'm a technophile Smiley Wink

@monicakm , I bought my Ninja Foodi 5 in 1 about four months and rarely use my much loved Bosch dual fuel oven anymore.

FYI, before I bought mine I bought America's Test Kitchen Everything you Need to know about Air Fryers.  Cosori was one of their top recommendations.

My experience is that the cook times provided are way too long.  I keep a chart of the different cuts of meat, the size, the temp and how long I cooked the item.  Very handy for future reference.

So far, I have cooked pork chops, steak, roast beef, roast chicken, chicken thighs, Italian sausage, chicken breast, chicken legs, burgers and leg of lamb.  All turned out fabulous.

Good luck with yours.  Hope you love it as much as I do mine.

@Lilysmom1   :-)  When you typed that you kept track of your cook times I should have added that I have a small notebook that I have kept track of temperature and cook times that worked for me as well.  As I would try various recipes I would write down notes to myself.   It's just a small spiral bound one that I keep near the air fryer so I have a quick reference.  I also should add in the beginning I used a meat thermometer to verify that everything was cooked to the correct temperatures.  I still use it from time to time on new recipes.  I also do many vegetables in mine.

@eadu4 , I always use a meat thermometer.  I would be lost without mine.  I just replaced the battery on mine.

I swear by the Cuisinart toaster over/air fryer. It bakes, toasts, air fries, etc. I use it almost every day.

It normally runs $240 or more around here. I got mine for $98 at Kohl's when it was on sale and I had a 40% off coupon plus a little Kohl's cash.
