sharke, I am so intrigued about air fryers now.  I was in Goodwill and saw one.  It was a Philips.  I got excited until I saw the $70 price tag.

Well, they sold a Gazillion air fryers. All the Facebook air fryer groups bought them. If anyone still wants one-Evine has a big Cook's Companion air fryer with a better warranty-jus sayin.

@HonnyBrown wow, I never see these types of appliances at my Goodwill.  Those Philips fryers are expensive but I agree $70 is a tad high.

Yes, they were 99.  I saw a presentation around 5pm and 4 of the colors were sold out.

mtc, my mouth fell.  For a Philip's, the price was great; but not so much for Goodwill.  I can get one new from Targe, a different brand, for much less.  I'm waiting for them to come to Aldi.

Tee hee @HonnyBrown I mentioned this on another thread . . . I am waiting for the Aldi version if they have a larger version as I purchased one of the original models and it is small (which is fine but I would like the opportunity to make larger things like a turkey breast) . . . . Smiley Happy

Aldi's have the large convection round cookers (like the big nuwaves) right now. They were last week's special I think - so they may still have some. My Aldi's still had some yesterday. Also had some enamel coated cast iron Smiley Happy

Hmmm, I finally broke down and bought a Phillips last night from Bed Bath and Beyond (had a 20% coupon, which decreased the price by $50). I figured that buying it locally might be a bit more expensive, but I'm not sure if I'm going to like it or if I'm going to have problems with it and I like the idea of just running down to the store to return it if need be (instead of having to have it shipped back).

I had to order it and it will be shipped to me at my work. I should have it next week.

I'm really intrigued by the whole air frying thing and I love playing around with kitchen gadgets. I'm hoping that I enjoy playing with this one.
