My old barrel shaped air fryer is a goner. It is pretty old and since I got it with reward points it owes me nothing. I woul like a square one about 6 Qt. Size.  I would really appreciate  any recs  of a machine that you like.  Amazon a  gazillion  different models and  I would like some genuine reviews. TIA

About a month ago I just bought the Cosari 9 in 1 6qt. airfryer from Amazon.  Recommended by a friend who has one.  So far so good.  Great size, easy clean up and it is quiet compared to the first one I had a few years ago.  I sent that back cause it was so loud.  The Cosari was $89 in black when I bought it but now it is $119.  Maybe price will go down for holidays?

@QVCkitty1 - Just before the most recent round of Prime Days, I did a bunch of research on Amazon to put some new air fryers on my wish list for the time when my current fryer invevitably bites the dust. These were my top two options (I'd link them, but that would be poofed, so hopefully the titles and Amazon inventory numbers will help you easily find them on the website):

• Cosori Air Fryer 9-in-1, 6-Qt = ASIN B0C33CHG99
—I love the fact that all the user guides are posted on the page in PDF form
to really let you review the details!

• Ninja Air Fryer Pro 4-in-1, 5-Qt = ASIN B0CSZ7WBYW

Good luck with making your decision!  Smiley Happy

I am a fan of Ninja appliances.  Depending on your personal plans for usage, the Ninja Foodi Grill and the Ninja Foodi Oven each have an air fryer feature.

@QVCkitty1   My granddaughter has a Drew Barrymore Air Fryer they received for their wedding a couple of years ago and they love it. They are busy professionals and use this appliance every day and cooks everything in it. She put this on her registry because it's beautiful and goes with the decor in their new home.

Recently, I bought one for myself.

Re: Air Fryer Rec.

@QVCkitty1 I have a Ninja Foodi which I like so much I bought an bigger one on sale to replace it when the 4 quart is done.  The bigger one is 10 qt and you can do an entire meal in it.  Versatile, use one drawer or two or make into one big one.

Corsari is another good one recommended by America's Test Kitchen.  They do a magazine that comes out every few months which I buy at Costco.  They had one on air fryers that did reviews and tells you what to look for, gives recipes etc.  Inread that before I chose mine.

Love my Ninja!!!

I love my Cuisinart air fryer, toaster oven. It sits on my counter and I use for a lot of things.

It might be to small but I just got a Ninja Crispi. So far I like it as with anything Ninja you can't go wrong. Only problem with the Crispi is they are new and most places are sold out.

At noon tomorrow, I'm getting the Gourmia 8 QT air fryer that Walmart will have on sale for $35 for Black Friday. Is it great? I don't know. Gourmia air fryers generally get good ratings (4+ stars) at most sites. (Not this one as it's a special for Black Friday and is unrated so far.) It has every feature I want in an air fryer though. It has a viewing window with a light so you can see your food cooking. A preheat, and flip/shake notice. You can bake in it, air fry, roast, broil, reheat, dehydrate, keep warm, and it even has a proof setting for yeast doughs to rise in.

Will it be the best air fryer ever made? Not at that price. But hot air is hot air. As long as it heats to the right general temperature and moves the air, it should be as good as any other. I'll still have my older air fryer in reserve also should this one prove to be junk. I'll check the baking temp with my oven thermometer to see how close it is to the set temperature but it should be fine for me and the price is unbeatable. I've been wanting one with baking capabilities and a window, so this came along at the perfect time. I've got Walmart+ so I can order it at noon tomorrow. And for $35, it's too good of a deal to pass up on.
