ANYONE USE THE NINJA BLENDER TO GRIND MEAT?

Saw Bob Warden use the large Ninja blender to grind steak into hamburger. I got a meat grinder and have been grinding my own meat for a few months. It is not hard, but it is a pain getting out the machine and cleaning it when I'm done. It would be great to use the Ninja instead. I just ordered it and plan to leave it out on the counter, so it would be great to use it as a meat grinder as well as all the other things it will do. Just wondered if anyone has tried it and if you have any hints to share. Thanks

Yes I use one of my Ninja containers solely for grinding chicken thighs....easy clean up just put hot water and a little dish detergent and blend again.

I had a small steak in the freezer, I cut it up into chunks and used the ninja. It made the best hamburger ever.

I have done steak and chicken in mine: I have a Waring meat grinder and the Ninja dances circles around it-and cleaning is a breeze because it's dishwasher safe. Work in small batches and pulse. Poodlepet2

yes me, I did this once, thought it would be really good. Nope I fried the hamburger patty up and took a bite then spit it out. It tasted like liver. I used a piece of chuck roast...blah {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Perhaps it WAS liver - mismarked label? Yes, I ground up a small amount just to see if it worked - and it did! It was beef cubes with no visible fat/bones. I was impressed!
