ALERT: Wednesday, 10/27 = FOOD ALL DAY

I know there are quite a few people around this forum who aren't fans of all the food shows, so I thought I'd share an advance alert that this Wednesday will be an all-day "Season's Eatings" event—the longest span of consecutive hours QVC has ever devoted to food only.

So have fun . . . or run . . .

This is a glorified day of order taking. That was a smart move whomever thought of that.

I still think they need to get new vendors, maybe someone can look at whose selling on Goldbelly???

I WILL be watching IF the right hosts are on.

I order a lot of food from QVC, but the two that have been paired together frequently are unwatchable.

If I don't watch, I usually don't order.

I've purchased MANY really good food items, but I might stay clear because I cannot seem to get space in my freezers. I have a top-freezer unit in my kitchen, a french door unit (hate that one!) in the garage, and a small chest freezer in the garage. But, somehow or other, they seem to stay pretty full.

One fav is the chicken fried chicken. That is perfect - I don't even add a grain of salt!

Another fav are the Grandma's cakes. I love the lemon coconut and the banana walnut. But they're all good!

I got the potstickers back in the day and I like those. I still have some because, back when I had them on AD, I would vac seal them in 10s so they stayed good.

Probably more favs, but I cannot remember right now.

Good to know. Won't be watching. ALL food is way overpriced.. Free shipping? Not. Added into price. If you can't get to a store well maybe, but I haven't found anything better than what I can buy for 2./3 the price in a nearby store. Tuned in for a minute a few days ago and a cheesecake was $60!!!!! Sams has excellent ones for 20. Just one example. They must be making a fortune on food since it is on so much and now a whole day. Just No.

@loriqvc Thanks for the reminder as I would have missed it otherwise. I don't order alot of food from QVC but do order more for holidays & special occasions as the convenience and free shipping make it one less thing I need to think about.
