In the last few years a lot of the coffee--even the most popular ones--smells really bad to me. Now of course that could be just me, but it has an acrid smell I think it is very unpleasant and strong.

What are some that you think smell good and refreshing?

Or the age-old question: Is it just ME? {#emotions_dlg.blink}

YES. Guess you've NEVER tasted premium coffee.

@italia8140, what is premium coffee in your opionion? Just wondering.

I think you should try a different brand of coffee.  I love the smell of coffee brewing but don't like coffee breath.

I agree. We buy only 8O'Clock coffee and it smells wonderful and tastes so smooth. I love waking up to the smell of coffee brewing so DH gets up and starts the coffee and then when it starts to smell really good he wakes me up if I'm not awake already. Some days he will already have his bagel toasting and the combination of the smell of the coffee and the cinnamon bagel is so delightful!

I've learned a lot from this post. Seems it comes down to the brand because some sound horrible. Had to laugh at the one lady whose coffee smells like kitty piddle. She definitely needs to change brands.

I love to wake up to the smell of brewing coffee!  Bacon cooking comes in as a close second!!

Starbuck's Holiday Blend and their Blonde roasts are my two favorite coffees.

They smell so good and taste wonderful.  I love to smelling brewing coffee when I'm in bed.  I can't wait to pour that first cup...

All I know is I get higher than a kite on Starbucks, also some varieties of Keurig.  I suppose that's a plus for some people, but I'll stick to my Folgers.

We are coffee drinkers and can (in a pinch) drink pretty much any brand. (Starbucks being dead last)

Recently a relative began working for Illy.  Oh my, is it delicious.
