I get this newsletter called Nutrition Action. They say my Blue Diamond almond milk has only four almonds per cup. So I checked VitaCost and they show it as their #1 seller. I'm in shock for two reasons, 1. I'm not getting the nutritive value I thought I was 2. I thought VitaCost was the end all for good-for-you food.

The convenience of buying it prepared is a no brainer for me. I am just not going to make my own... and almonds are very expensive to buy.

FYI..............almonds are not cheap. U get what U pay for. Yes, I've made it but U need a Vitamix, which isn't cheap either. Google for details.
P.S.: homemade is always better than mass produced

On youtube there's a video by Alex Thomopolous (sp?) who does make it. I stick with Silk brand because they're Non-Gmo Certified. Doesn't matter to me if it's only worth 4 almonds a glass. I mix mine with hemp protein powder so I'm getting a heck of a lot more than 4 almonds of nutrition. Eat some almonds during the day for snacks if you want.
