For New Year's Eve, I picked up "Kalamata Olive Tapenade" by Bella Famiglia and spread it on Raincoast Crisps seed crackers by Lesley Stowe. It suddenly hit me that my combo tastes like black caviar lite on a cracker. Plus, there is no fishy after-taste. This was the first time I tried the tapenade.

Whether you like black caviar or not, the new combination of flavors is very palatable to my taste buds. Maybe you would like to try it yourself. Just a thought...

Re: A Faux Black Caviar Taste

Thanks for posting this! Every year around the holidays I splurge on the good stuff, and this year I bought us some Osetra Russian Caviar from Costco (to my surprise they had it this year& hopefully in the future too!) and I even got one as a gift.

One question: Where did you find this brand? I'll give your tip a try in the middle of the year when I don't allow myself this annual splurge. Smiley Very Happy
