Re: A Easy Job But I Hate It

This has been fun reading all of your posts.  My number one job I absolutely hate is putting groceries away.  I enjoy grocery shopping but putting them away is another story.  To make sure I do it and do not jump to something else while I'm at home, I set a timer and make a game out of how long it takes me to put them away.  Yes, it's that bad.

My second job I dislike is cleaning my master bathroom shower which is stone tile and drives me crazy.  If I every redo the shower I will select something much easier to clean.

Re: A Easy Job But I Hate It

When I fold laundry I have to immediately put it away. I can't leave folded laundry unattended for a minute as my cat thinks clean clothes are there for her to lie on. I made that mistake once and had to rewash everything. We have a closet in the bathroom and everyone knows to keep that door closed as well as the bathroom door. Someone left the closet door open years ago and Queen Bee decided to sleep on my clean towels. Not only did the cat lose her comfy spot, all the towels were washed and a handheld vac and Lysol wipes were used that morning on the shelves. After that whoever lets the cat in does all the towels and cleans the closet.

I would appreciate it if the stores would stop rearranging everything all the time.  I know they do it to keep you exploring, but cut it out already.

I know some people using InstaCart.  I may try it at some point.  (You order online from  a choice of several stores.  Orders can be received within 2 hours.  Someone must be home to accept order.  They deliver perishables, frozen items, etc.)

Been cooking since the late 60's.  Just cook for myself now, but I do enjoy it.  Not too crazy about unloading the dishwasher.
