We've made that fudge so many times we don't use a candy thermometer! In fact I've never had one.

My mother made Floating Island (meringue islands on a runny custard base). Haven't had it in fifty years but the recipe is readily available ( so you never know...).

Not a big dessert lover, but anytime they have creme brulee in a restaurant, I indulge (unless it is chocolate, I dislike chocolate).

@ECBG I would so love to have one of my moms homemade coconut cakes. She made the cake from scratch and would crack the "real coconuts" for that fresh coconut that was like no other. She carried this recipe to heaven with her in 2016......
