If you want a family sized air fryer, they have one over on Evine as the special for today.  Looks pretty good.

Who makes it, and what is the wattage?  How much is it?

@EatWell  Todd English  and the wattage is 1,500.

@CLEM I just saw your post and turned to evine. They are down to the last 200 and will sell out. I am still on the fence about an air fryer. This is one I will watch reviews. Thanks for posting.

Welp, I bit the bullet but was too slow on the draw to get the accessory kit.  I set up email notification when the get more in so now it's a matter of waiting and keeping my fingers crossed that they actually show up.  I'm passing Paula's along to a sister who doesn't have an air fryer but would like one.

@JeanLouiseFinch   The accessory kit just became available again.  Guess someone cancelled.

I cancelled my order. DH wanted to rotisserie chicken, ribs, prime rib etc. I told him it was not big enought for that. He siad he saw them put a chicken in it. I recorded a couple of shows & it was not a chicken but a cornish hen. From the picture it looked bigger. It's just a larger air fryer then what we already have. I told him if he wanted a rotisserie to buy one of those by Ronco. He found one on Home Depot for $81 which will be here Fri. It's suppose to rain this weekend so will be a good time to try it. I'm sure they will come out with another one that's bigger & does more things. LOL!!!

I JUST CANCELLED THE ACCESSORY KIT BECAUSE IT CONTAINS TOO MANY ITEMS I ALREADY HAVE ( AND I'M SURE MOST PEOPLE HAVE) THAT CAN BE USED IN THIS SIZE AIR FRYER SUCH AS MY TEMPTATIONS AND REGULAR BAKEWARE ETC.  I WOULD PREFER A FLAT ROTISSERIE BASKET PERFECT FOR FISH,MEAT, FOWL OR ANYTHING FLAT AND SOLID...AS I THINK THE ROUND BASKET  INAPPROPRIATE TO USE FOR MORE THAN FROZEN, BATTERED, BITE SIZE FOOD, AND VEGGIES, WHICH AIR FRYS FINE IN THE MAIN AIR FRYER BASKET...WHICH HOLDS MORE...PUTTING A FISH  DIRECTLY ON THE ROTISSERIE ROD IS A DIFFICULT TASK; ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT THE FISH TO REMAIN IN 1 PIECE BEFORE AND DURING COOKING IF YOU DON'T SECURE IT PROPERLY IN AN APPROPRIATE FLAT ROTISSERIE BASKET; NOT THE ROUND BASKET INCLUDED IN THE SEPARATE ACCESSORY KIT. YOU CAN USE THE STEAMER/BROILER  RACK INCLUDED WITH THE AIR FRYER PACKAGE,  IN THE TRADITIONAL AIR FRYER MAIN BASKET OR INCLUDED TRAY TO MAKE YOUR FISH OR ANYTHING INCLUDING SHISH-KA-BOB (I THINK YOU CAN BUY THE SKEWERS SEPARATELY MOST ANYWHERE; EVEN ON EVINE?) BY PLACING SKEWERS ON TOP OF THE INCLUDED RAISED RACK WHICH WILL DRIP THE FAT OFF BELOW WITHOUT ALLOWING THE FOOD TO SOAK IN IT.  THIS AIR FRYER COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MAKE ANYYTHING YOU WISH.  I HAVENT AS YET RECEIVED MY AIR FRYER AND WAS NOTIFIED BY EVINE THAT MY ORDER IS DELAYED ALMOST A MONTH?  I CAN'T IMAGINE WHY BUT I AM NOT BEING CHARGED UNTIL IT SHIPS...AND I DID WANT IT IN TIME FOR MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW AS MY PRESENT TO MYSELF!  OH WELL...

PS: WHILE TODD ENGLISH CLAIMS YOU CAN ONLY ROTISSERIE A 2LB CHICKEN OR ROC CORNISH HEN...YOU CAN ROTISSERIE A COUPLE OF CHICKEN LEGS AND THIGHS OR PERHAPS TURKEY LEG AND THIGH OR A WHOLE CHICKEN BREAST, OR A COUPLE OF 1LB CORNISH HENS... ETC.?

REVIEWS ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AS IS A 30 DAY RETURN POLICY WHICH GIVES YOU MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME TO TRY AND IF DISSATISFIED FOR ANY VALID REASON SUCH AS "DEFECTIVE"...YOU MAY RETURN AT EVINE'S EXPENSE.  I HAVE ONLY BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH ONE PRODUCT FROM TODD ENGLISH (HIS PRODUCTS ARE MANUFACTURED TO HIS SPECIFICATIONS BY COOK'S COMPANION WHICH, ON THEIR OWN, ARE SOLD AS EVINE'S COMPANY BRAND,  AND ARE USUALLY QUITE RELIABLE)  I PURCHASED 3 ITEMS FROM PAULA DEEN ( WHOSE APPLIANCES ARE ALSO MADE BY COOK'S COMPANION) AND HAD TO RETURN ALL 3 AS THEY WERE DEFECTIVE...PAULA SHOULD STICK TO COOKING AND PRODUCING COOKBOOKS AND REFRAIN FROM DOING SOMETHING SHE IS NOT GOOD AT!  LATELY WHEN ORDERING SMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES FROM ANY HOME SHOPPING SHOW I AM FORCED TO SAY A PRAYER IN THE HOPES THAT THEY WILL WORK!

IF THE AIR FRYER SHOULD GET BIGGER IN SIZE THAN THIS 9.8 QUART AIR FRYER...IT WOULD END UP THE SIZE OF A LARGE COUNTERTOP OVEN THUS DETRACTING FROM A 'SPACE SAVING DESIGN THAT CAN STILL FIT COMFORTABLY ON MOST COUNTERTOPS AS DOES A REGULATION SIZE COFFEEMAKER.  SURE...PERHAPS BIGGER AIR FRYERS WITH MORE BELLS AND WHISTLES WILL BE MADE AND OFFERED FOR SALE, YET...HOW MANY WILL BE SOLD UNLESS THEY GAIN MORE SIZE VERTICALLY?  THEN WHAT HAPPENS TO

KITCHEN CABINETS?

Re: 9.8 qt Air Fryer

[ Edited ]

Thought I would bump up this thread as the Todd English 9.8 qt. is back this weekend as their TS.  Nice price and great accessories.  For those that missed out on the Paula Deen 8.8 qt. air fryer you may want to take a look.

I saw an infomercial with Eric (of Copper Chef fame) where he is selling an "Airfryer Oven"  It looks similar to a toaster oven but has about 3-4 shelves.  This will probably show up on QVC at some point.
