Absolutely shocked by the inflated price I saw for a Juniors 8" pumpkin cheesecake on QVC today.  A comparable cheesecake (Pumpkin Spice) is selling for $6.99 at Trader Joes. People really need to shop around. QVC should be ashamed of itself selling items at such an up-mark.

Re: $55.89 for a cheesecake ?!?

I think that's about what The Cheesecake Factory charges for a whole cheesecake.

Crazy!

@Reever .... nobody is forcing you to buy it !!! .... Junior’s cheesecake is probably one of the best you can buy & cannot compare with a $6.99 cheesecake from Trader Joe’s!!!! ... it’s like everything else .... “You Get What You Pay For” 🍮

@January121 :  I agree that others can do as they wish (buy, not buy Juniors).  As for me, I'll buy my cheese cakes from Costco;  they are large, yummy and less than $15!

[ Edited ]

I  can buy Juniors cheesecake at our local Shop Rite. Regular price is $16.99 for a 24 ounce cheesecake. (they have plain, raspberry swirl and chocolate swirl). So 2 cheesecakes/ 48 ounces would be $34.00. Shop Rite puts these on sale every once in awhile for $14.99

In comparision, a 2 pound 14 ounce (46 ounces) on QVC is priced $53.95. (plain item m115440)

Some people don’t like to bake or are simply unable to. However, if you are one of the many people who purchased a KA stand mixer, haul it out and make a cheesecake. They are surprisingly easy, and don’t require many ingredients. You will always pay for convenience, and I have no issue with that, but a homemade cheesecake is divine. 🥰
