Do you get our western slope Palisade Colorado peaches in Albuquerque? They harvest from now till early October.
I've had them and they're good. I prefer white nectarines so not an expert on them.
@rockygems123. They are my favorite peaches in the whole world but sadly, I never see them in this area. Might be worth a trip to Grand Junction to get some.

Another option is to order from The Peach Truck. Their home delivery is $60 for a box of 13. So no, QVC prices are not out of line for those that want a home delivery of fresh Georgia peaches.

Here in Colorado Springs we have a fresh fruit truck come over from Palisade, CO to sell their peaches. That's usually around the beginning of August. They sell the peaches in bulk. $60 will get about 25 pounds of fresh peaches. The truck parks just blocks from where I live.
Palisade, Colorado peach orchard ...located on the western side of the state.

I live beside a large peach orchard and several smaller ones, so I definitely buy local peaches. We don't eat a lot of them so we buy small quantities and they have several varieties to choose from. I live in upstate SC.

@blissfullysweet That's a bit of a wild price to me! Just got back from Food Lion. Grabbed a bag of Fuzzy Georgia Peaches in a bag. $3.99 for 10. Just sliced some into my Tillamook Orange Cream Ice Cream. I'm out here trying to scoop it all in before it melts! These peaches are delicious...soft, sweet, juicy.

Great peaches are available everywhere....this price is ridiculous.
But at least it's not financing hot dogs for 5 months on Easy Pay ...and I don't care if they're round, tube shaped or dusted with gold glitter.
"Hey honey!.....what's this 100 dollar charge on our VISA card from QVC?"
"I bought some hot dogs..!!! Only 100 bucks for 24....but they're round!!!! Made from "special cow meat" ( Lips, hoofs, brains and ears).......but don't worry....we'll only be paying for them for five months!!!!"
Sheeesh.....

I am very happy with whatever is available at my local Wegmans, peaches included.

Idaho peaches are the best, imo. Look for them in the grocery stores. Way better than other states fruit.
