Thanks for the updates, ladies—I hadn't checked the program guide yet today, but on Sunday, David and Mary had announced that she would be hosting for him, so I just had that mental note floating around in my brain that I thought I'd share.

I heard last Sunday that Mary was subbing for David's vacation tonight!

I will NOT be watching.  These are both the absolute worse hosts for this show.

Two giddy children, sing songing words, overly dramatic,  cackling and talking over each other.

With so many other hosts that have more experience with kitchen shows, I do not understand this selection.

Big NO for me.  No watching means no buying.

Curious as to which hosts would be the best to act as fill in for David?

With Stacey gone, no one comes to mind for me other than Mary.

I was planning to enjoy the show with Mary. I can't see all of it, but I planned to watch a lot.

 I just assumed it would be Mary. I too agree she is the best "sub" for him!

I don't watch whole shows, but I regularly look at videos of items I'm interested in. I like the ones done by Mary and Alberti and feel they are good choices. I especially like it when they spend more time on the item details and less on the colors and how many are left. So snoozy to sit through that info when what I want is to know about the item. To be fair, most of the info is given by the vendors, so that makes the host less important.

   I have seen Gourmet food shows and kitchen shows with Carolyn, Jayne, Pat, Mary Beth and even Jane who have all done a wonderful job.  I also think Ally, who has assisted David, would be a MUCH better choice.
