I just watched the video on it and skimmed through the information probably too fast, but I did not see whether the main pan comes out for cleaning . I hate any counter top appliance that you have to tilt and clean with the sprayer or whatever. For those that own it --how is cleanup.

Also anyone know of any specials coming up on it? tia

I have this and yes, the large pot insert comes out and can go right in the dishwasher. It's non-stick so cleanup is easy.

I love mine. The fact that it has both the slow cooker mode and the stovetop/oven mode is great. You can brown meats right in the pot, and then do the slow cook. I also like that you have temp control. I don't put my removable pot in the dishwasher. It is non stick and so easy to clean. My top does say "not dishwasher safe" although I don't understand why not. Only the handle is not metal.

I find that the removable pan is so easy to clean, I never bother to put it in the dishwasher. It would take up too much room plus I am not sure that a dishwasher is the best for nonstick surfaces. I have baked on many sticky foods that I feared would be hard to come off but honestly I never have had issues. Just hot soapy water and most of the time a sponge. I use the Scrub Daddy on many stainless steel pans and cast iron because it is very efficient without harming any surface and I would use one on any nonstick that may be more difficult to clean.
