An idea for those tomatoes you have:
Cut them in half crosswise and place them in a baking dish. If the tomatoes are unripe score the cut side (facing up) with a paring knife Season with salt, pepper, italian seasonings, and grated cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and bake uncovered until done. I bake on convection at around 375 degrees. I usually spread a teaspoon or so of olive oil around the baking dish with a paper towel before placing the tomatoes inside. They're done when they are soft and lightly browned on top.
Serve with warm Italian bread for a "pizza-like" experience.

@faeriemoon --and then what do you do with them? Just eat them ? These toms are more orange than red--so aren't very ripe. Was thinking maybe de hydrate them in my air fryer-----haven't used that function yet.
Oh just read the last line you posted---

We use instacard aldi a lot. For the most part, it's been good. But, we have had a few lousy experiences. Some shoppers really seem to care about doing a good job. Others, you can tell, it's just a paycheck and that's that. But it's that way with all jobs, I guess!
