I have a good collection of Native American jewelry, some bought more than 20 years ago at reservations, some at museum shops and some in Santa Fe and Flagstaf.  I like the Hopi silver pieces the best and the hand made silver beads but they are heavy!  

 

I have a beautiful green turquoise bracelet and some Old #8 turquoise too, and Kingman. 

 

Most beautiful?  Ruby and diamond checkerboard  earrings and a watch with diamonds aound the face.

I have LOTS of jewelry... but now retired I only wear very little maybe once a week when I go grocery shopping etc. I usually only wear earrings when I go out.. occationally a necklace... usually gold and or gold with pearls. Nothing very fancy like I use to dress up with years ago.  I do not think it is safe to wear a lot of gold and fancy stuff these days in fear of getting robbed.

I have a beautiful diamond engagement ring which is dangerous where I work.

 

My favs are my handmade pendents.
