Of course my wedding ring; it's just a very simple gold band. That's all I need.
One of my other favorites is a pair of earrings (my favorite kind of jewelry) in the shape of seahorses. They're set in pink gold surrounded by small but good diamonds. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them.

I have many favorites (other than my wedding ring) but if I had to choose one it would be the Mother's necklace my DH designed and had made for me years ago. It's two stones set one above the other in 14k gold. The stones are aquamarine and tourmaline (March and October). I cherish it.

My engagement ring, wedding ring, and anniversary ring on my left hand.
My grandmother’s engagement diamond, which my dear mother inherited, and I inherited from her. The diamond has been reset. A sweet reminder of people I loved on my right hand.

My grandmother's gold wedding band. Of her four granddaughters, I was the one she quietly gave her original wedding band. It makes me feel special that she chose me.

We had this made in memory to our kitties that are at the Bridge. I only remove it to have it cleaned.

I have a small guitar shaped pin in clear stones I bought for my mother when I was a very little girl. My father took me to our friend's jewelry store and the man said to pick something I would like to give my mom. I chose this pin and he said, "how much money do you have", and I said 25 cents. He said that was just the amount it was. My father, of couse, paid the rest without letting me know, and I thought that was a great present for my mom. She wore it all the time and I still have that pin. I keep it in my box of important papers for my family when I am gone.

My 2" gold hoop earrings! I love showy bright earrings (not too large for my face) and necklaces.
I read recently wearing big hoops is an "old lady" look. Those darn bloggers! Is it?

@NYCLatinaMe probably the same bloggers who gave the death knell to "statement" jewelry or big honker rings and decreed the "IN" style is thin layered gold chain necklaces. (fine by me but i like to change it up)

@NYCLatinaMe Nope! I bet you rock them!

I have been collecting jewelry for years so it is hard to pick out favoritesl One would be an African amethyst with a peridot in the center and diamonds between the amestysts. Too many to name are my favorites. I do like my bangles, either silver, gold or colored.
