The tassel necklace weighs 57.5 grams which equals 2.010618 ounces.So according to another poster @19.32 per ounce the necklace cost should be $38.83. They are charging $249.00 for this necklace which includes diamonique. OMG!!!! Talk about a ripoff, this is it.

My tastes have changed and now I no longer want or would wear such gaudy jewelry. 20 years ago or so I bought a couple of her pieces....at the time it was OK for where I was at in my life.....but as I have matured since that time, I now hardly wear much and never loud, screaming pieces like Judith's. I want simple clean lines in my jewelry.

I agree with you 100%! You are paying for her Name.

When Judith first started with QVC, her prices were reasonable. I purchased a few of her items way back then.

I will not purchase any thing else from her line. The last bracelet that I purchased about 2 years ago was so light...It did not even resemble the sterling silver that I purchased from her in the past. I sent it back to QVC.

And she uses Diamonique on alot of her items...Costume Jewelry.

I will tell you HSN's..."Nicky Butler's Line" is outstanding! When you purchase a piece of his Jewelry, you can feel the weight of the silver. And he uses all REAL GEMSTONES in ALL of his pieces. His prices are very reasonable for what you are getting, REAL Jewelry.

I can't stand when they instroduce her with all the accolades. I watched Nancy last night and it nauseated me to hear Oh we love Youuuuuuu. And she responds, No, I Love You. And she sticks her nose up in the air and rolls her eyes. There's no need for that.

I totally agree and that's why I don't own any. I'm not going to over pay just because it has her name on it. Silver is silver and topaz is topaz and it's still shopping channel jewelry.

Yes, I've done the mental math on many of her items when I get tempted and it's enough to make me back off.

I am also glad I got to pick up a few of her pieces years ago. Simple fact is I won't spend the amount of money they are asking for her jewelry today. It's so over priced for what you are gettting. This is a TSV and that is suppose to be the best price ever. It seems to me a lot of the TSV's are all spendy lately. Remeber the days when a TSV was such a good deal they were hard to pass on. Today I don't see many deals. I can pass on the majority of the TSV's with ease.

@elated ..... yes, it is a rip off but, we have to take into consideration that the 19.32 price is just for the silver ... it then has to be turned into a necklace which takes labor so, I guess $75.00 to $100.00 would be a fair price.
