I think so.  Gold will never go down. Gold jewelry is always more expensive then the price of gold mark.  Prices will always go up.  Cost of living goes up. Our salaries go up (if we're working) They have to make a profit.  It's a business. In jewelry stores, the gold will cost more (for their overhead)

Very pricey yes in my opinion.  But many ladies wait for this day.

I think they are playing to the customers they wished that they had.  The future customers they want to garner, younger and wealthier.  Good luck with that

Gold jewelry is available at wholesale prices at many jewelry store chains and on sale at major dept. stores. Easy pay is not the same as a sale.

If I had planned to shop today, I would have been educating myself on current prices.  Because I haven't done that, I have no idea what any prices "should" be.

I love gold, but I'm sticking to my resolution to wear the gold I already own.  I'll just watch occasionally.
