Every year,  I try to donate by buying products made from 3rd world countries. Been buying oil drum metal art from Haitia a few times --proceeds go back to the aritsans that produce it. This year I found a place in Tarzana, CA called the Bead Chest and they offer beads and jewerly items that come from those countries. I bought some glass beads that were made in Ghana, Africa. Really nice quality with a history of how they are made. Bought a strand of multi color glass rondels, some sea glass looking beads, blue sea sediment jasper beads and a few strands of metal spacer beads. They were all shipped almost immediately and I got them within a few days--which is really a plus these days---not sure what I will do with them--but my DD does jewlery so she may come up with something--otherwise-maybe I'll hang them on my xmas tree!!!
