Most, if not all, Tanzanite sold today has been heat treated. You can expect some treatment to any stone these days. Just assume a stone is treated unless it states in the description that it's not and that it's 'natural'.

I noticed that it was heat treated.  Not impressed with that. The prices are definitely elevated even considering the 18kt setting.
