I adore Judith Ripka jewelry, and check the new arrivals often.  There is a new blue topaz pave sterling cross that made me drool.  The price, however, is  off-putting.  I looked at the side view and it looks like the cross was sliced in half, almost 2D.  If it had been paved all around I definitely would have bought it, but as it is now, it would be paying $630 for half a cross.

A lot of her stuff is insanely overpriced or what it is IMO.

Her items are ridiculously over priced for what they are.  Sometimes, I do look but only so I an laugh at the prices.

I don't think I'd want the pave to go all around the back of the cross, but I also don't think I'd ever pay $630 for it, or for any piece of jewelry for that matter.  I already have a large of jewelry collection, so I can afford to back off a bit!

As a customer of hers since she arrived at QVC, I've been deeply disapppointed in the quality = price of some of her newer items I've decided to try.  Same thing happened with Michael Dawkins...(try to find him/his company if you are having issues with a piece).....  now I'm into Jai and Barbara Bixby (until that fateful day comes)....  all of which are insanely priced IMHO....

I returned her pave diamond earrings. They were poorly made and the backings were flimsy. The earrings fell forward even with different backings. For a thousand dollars, I expected better workmanship.

I have always had good luck with her jewelry, but since she sold the company I don't think the quality is there with every piece. The last thing I bought was a rolo chain bracelet with a small heart you can remove. I like the piece, but there really isn't much to it and it wasn't cheap.

Her jewelry is quite pretty, but it just isn't my style, so I don't buy any of it.  Been tempted a few times, but the price/value ratio just isn't there for me.
