I received this morning my necklace locket I ordered from Etsy (I have my mammy's photo engraved to protect me).

I opened the package and I found a miniscule heart shape pendant/locket.

I always thought that locket pendants are a little bigger than this one and in the descrption from Etsy's shop, there were no measurement, only how long the chain  (If it stated that  the peandant is half inch, I would not ordered it)

So what do you think ladies?

I am embarassed to contact the seller, first it is engraved.

It isn't too small. I like it. If you want you could layer another pendant or chain with it.

It's attractive and appears a medium sized locket to me.  Not too small. Plus, it has the lovely engraved special meaning,  making it your very own.  

Enjoy it, while believing in the sense of protection, you wish for it to provide for you. It's a sweet, lovely sentiment.

I think it's fine, if it were too big it would take away the special meaning of it.

@BlueFinch yes yes dear, you are absolutely correct, the engrave says "My dearest mama" when I open the heart to the left it is and to the right is her photographe.
