? about returns using prepaid label

I'm having an ongoing battle with a window clerk. I have mailed packages with prepaid labels more times than I can count and always asked for a receipt, properly termed a prepaid mailpiece acceptance. It is a simple procedure....scan the package, hit a button, VOiLA the little piece of paper comes out of the machine, I'm on my merry way with a bit of paper that says I gave them (PO) my package. EVERYBODY, literally in 3 counties has obliged me, without question, except ONE. He give me a whole ton of 'stuff' and then after about 5 minutes of banter, he does print the receipt. The question is: do you get a 'receipt' for your prepaid packages and do you have a problem getting it? TIA
