Good morning and happy Monday to us all.

When I retrieved the paper this am it was 56F, for heaven's sake! Gonna be a gorgeous day here, but the flooding won't all crest until about 24 hours more.

Hope everyone got through Irene without any major problems. We were lucky but just next door not so much; they're missing roof shingles.

Borrowed a crib from my neighbor to us for DBGD but then I began getting nervous as it is in perfect condition but more than 4 decades old. Read "Consumer's Reports" and after reading that you should never use a "used" crib b/c of safety concerns, we have scrapped this idea and will head out today or tomorrow to buy a crib - a new one.

Off to the gym.
