Good morning and happy Tuesday to us all.

What a fabulously glorious day! Oh my gosh, this is some wacky weather b/c normally we'd be deep into the dog days. This AM when I went out to gather the paper it was only 57 degrees! No humidity and perhaps a high of 80 today and no rain! Couldn't ask for better.

My visit to the eye doc yesterday was just lovely, as she told me that my cataracts, old age precipitated, have grown in the last year which is why I may be experiencing some additional difficulty seeing! No talk of surgery as of yet. I fully realize that the alternative is not acceptable, but I hate getting older to be faced with "old people's" diseases. In the great scheme of things, cataracts are but a hiccup, but I am not mentally prepared to have "old people" problems, even though I'm old. Bette Davis was right - "Getting old isn't for sissies." I wore sunglasses until about 9PM as the refraction kills my eyes; those darn drops. End of rant.

Off to do stuff before the gym.
