Good morning and happy Sunday to us all.

Overcast with the sun peeking through. After record breaking rain for a single day on Friday, the dry is desperately needed. Chance of showers for the next couple of days.

I tried posting yesterday from my colorist's salon, but the connection just would stick. Yesterday was the every eight weeks ordeal of coloring and styling, at different salons. Oh well, I tried the grey when my hair grew back after chemo & I looked like a deranged pup from 101 Dalmatians. I had clusters of grey all over my head. Not the best look. If I only had the all over white/silver, I'd let it be, for I think that is a very attractive look. I should stop complaining and just be grateful that the hair came back at all. Sade was a worse look.

Poor DH for weeks has been trying to re-stain our deck, but he needs 48 hours of dry, dry, dry. He prepared it yet again only to check the forecast afterward and find out that dry won't be here until next weekend.

DBGD is excellent as she approaches her second birthday next Sunday. Unfortunately, she will not be with her Daddy to celebrate. I fear it'll hurt us more than she. All four of us went to a diner for dinner on Friday and she was the belle of the ball. Her behavior was superb, she ate like a champ and was friendly to everyone. As she left she ran over to both DH and myself for goodbye hugs. When her daddy lifted her up to leave, she turned to the people eating, gave a royal wave, said goodbye and then threw kisses. A lot of people responded in like to her. It was like a weird "Sound of Music!"

I seem to be fully recovered, knock wood, from my health issues. What a bother.

Off to the paper and some tea.
