Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.

It's a glum looking day out there and showers can pop up at any moment. It's 60 right now and is supposed to hit the low 70s. My DGS's baseball game ought to be interesting, to say the least.

DH seems to be doing better following the instructions of the pulmonary doctor, although he still can get fits of coughing. With the head board raised so high, our bed looks like it will snap any moment, and it looks ugly. Small price to pay for his relief form the constant hacking.

DS#1 is more problematic. It seems like his troubles keep having babies. And then they grow up. He found out he had an abscessed tooth which they thought they could save via root canal. Couldn't be done so it was extracted Thursday. For a very rare time he was supposed to attend a Cinco de Mayo party tonight, but now that's off. One can only pray that somehow this all caused his fainting and now that issue will go away.

Next Saturday this time DGS will have his First Holy Communion. I am thrilled for him for taking this big step. But now my mercenary mind says to figure out what jewelry will be worn next week.

DGD went to a Father/Daughter dance last night at her school. She had a corsage on her wrist and looked so adorable.

Off to peruse the posts and get some chores done, like laundry, before the afternoon baseball games begins.
