Good morning and happy Saturday to us all. Scrumpcious weather today. But, boy-oh-boy am I suffering from allergies! I take prescription pill, nasal spray & have two eye drops, but still my eyes are killing me. I hate to think where I'd be without the meds. My eyes have been so bad that I've stopped wearing eye make up because what's the point? Within seconds of application of waterproof stuff, the watery eyes have already moved the make up! This too shall pass and it's only allergies. I'm currently doing the haird things today, beginning with getting my application of "natural" color. I prefer to do thid every 7/8 weeks, for this is only five weeks. But I've a couple of events coming up and don't want to have dorky hair. I had DTGD laughing very hard this week. She did a header down a short flight of steps; she's always in a big hurry and often looking backwards, not forward. She was just on the verge of tears when I began yelling at the steps for tripping her and told the steps that'd have a time out. The tears vanished and the laughter began. During the week she gave many places in the house time out! She's a trip. Almost time for the buzzer to go off. Make it a great day!

Kaplan, I can relate about the allergies & eyes. I also take a prescription pill, have special eye drops and I also use an inhaler twice a day. I've had to give up on my eye make-up also. My eyelids get real puffy no matter which brand I use.

We've had a great long weekend....my DGD graduated from high school Friday night. Her party was today. My son & DIL & her parents are here from New Orleans. I've enjoyed their visit so very much. I'm still off walking. I go to the dr this Tues. I'm anxious to hear what he has to say.

Take care & give your DGD an extra hug from me..

Kappy, I do hope you are "seeing" some improvement! Pun intended! Sorry, I couldn't help myself, it was just too easy! But, I digress.....I was at the Drs. office yesterday for "allergies", which became a full blown sinus infection. So, take some comfort in knowing you are not alone.

Too funny about DTGD! Every day is something new for her, and for you!

Hi, Kaplan - Just getting "natural" hair color and "natural" highlights puts a huge smile on my face!

As yet another of your fellow allergy sufferers, I finally gave in last Spring and started allergy shots (after testing, etc.). I'm still taking the antihistamine and eye drops, but a year later I've seen a monumental difference. No more runny, itchy, puffy eyes - no more of the constant sneezing and runny nose (so attractive). Even my husband has noticed the difference.

We recently had a few weeks of Santa Ana weather conditions, the bane of an allergy sufferer's existence in SoCal, but for the first time ever I've been fine.

I hope you're feeling better soon!
